About
Gurara Falls is created by the Gurara River as it drops dramatically over a rocky escarpment.
The waterfall is particularly impressive during the rainy season, when increased water flow transforms the landscape.
History & Cultural Significance
The waterfall takes its name from the Gurara River. Local traditions and communities have long interacted with the river and surrounding landscape.
